Final Project

        In life technology plays a important role in fantasy and reality.In our 21 century since the creation of computer in the 1960 in wars like Vietnam and the first color television in the 1970. Technology always improving never Devolution  of  technology.Even when it come to cinema  3D movie was treat back in the early 80s and 90s but every movie nowadays are in 3D.Even the video games from the 1970 and the 2010 have a big difference in graphics,pixels,and dimensional  objects.2D was a thing of the past  and 3D  gettingold also because if you go to Disney land their are movie that are in 4D.Next generation consoles like X-box 360 and the PS3 formatting,they programing  for other stuff like Internet connection and x-box point allow to get other content like movies and other companies like i tunes make you buy music and video from net flicks.Event your bills could get paid from the Internet.


       Technology has hold in society,from own personal life technology has a hold on my life sometimes like being  addicted to drug technology.I'm on the computer for like half of my day looking at video,talking to people i haven't seen since high school and browsing the web.My playing games have help relieve stress from work and school.Sometime I lose all sense of time and begin thinking I'm the character in the game.We lose all sense reality because its a clean escape and don't have be under the influence to escape from reality.When playing grand theft auto you go around shooting people because if you go around shooting people in real life your going prison.In grand theft auto you could also died multiply times.I guess all wanna villains in real life and super heroes that why technology always plays a role in fantasy and reality.It our human need to keep the inner child in us people have a peter pan complex.

      We as human need an escape from reality,our boring 9-5,that why we watch movies to get way or other thing like cinema and video games.The human mind love to explore other ways of thinking and feelings so the best things in life come from media.When we have massive schedule and live we need some type of outlet that legal with out being a drug addict or pill popper.As human beings  we need  things that will keep our inner child.

   To conclude we have like cinema and games to keep as sound people .Escape from over daily life become stress relievers and life changers.I'm about to keep go plays some games right now watch a movie after this report.

My Day

I arrived at school pretty dam Early .I got in at 2:15 for math classes.I got cheese fries from the cafeteria around 4:45 and finished the fries at 5 o clock.I got to the room for 5:15  everybody seem worried,I saw people camped outside the door like it was sneaker release date at footlocker.At 5:30 Professor Smith came into class  as if i was a star wars classic ,like if  he was was Yoda or Obi wan Kenobi,he was passing us the knowledge to beat CAT exam .We counted down in awe waiting for the Procter to come and he wasn't what i excepted  he was man wearing a Metallica shirt with acids wash jeans and some converse.At 4:45 He gave us a Speech about the test and how he was going to to let us begin right away.Thank I remember to use the bathroom before took the test.So we started I open up the book and when open up the book my face lighten up as if i was a child opening up a present on Christmas,the article was on the media.I begin think about a claim but then i skipped because i didn't want to waste  time.I skip 3 lines  and start summarizing the article.I wrote and from the article then i begin use personal experience. I finished up the conclusion and passed the test.

CAT 6 :Is google making us stupid

I believe the internet and technology are half way responsible for making people stupid but people are also responsible for a great dependency  on technology . In the article The Shallow: What the Internet Is doing to our Brains by Nicholas Carr. He basically goes into an idea that technology is bad for the human brain. He first goes into a talk about how Google is bad for us because of its conveniences. Also that people don’t really pick up information because of  brain  and thoughts being so comfortable that we don’t use concentration enough .Lack of concentration comes from  our abilities  not being executed  right, we begin losing  the idea of  deep thinking  and having a calm and attentive mind. He also thinks, that where too distracted that why we retain less understand, remember less, and learn less.

To be honest speaking from my point of view, before I had a cell phone I could remember cell numbers and house number from beginning to end. Basically now it’s hard to remember any number sometimes I forget  area code numbers ,but thanks to my phone I don’t have to remember anything. One time I lost my phone and I lost all the information for my phone, it took pretty long to find and retrieve all the missing numbers and Aol instant massagers friends. My point is that information can’t be retain because can’t even get the simplest thing like numbers down so how are going to physic? Also another Example is that people when their texting they use their phones so much they begin to start texting people on their phone the same they would for write an essay or professional job. My little cousin who’s in the fourth grade doesn’t even write paragraphs from scratch anymore at school, but she has type up a paragraph on the computer because her teachers think it easier for kids to write on a computer or laptop.

People aren’t the ones to blame it’s an half and half with text knowledge. Most genius do not spend with computer texting each other or usually watching television. Most Genius are usually more touch with nature  or reading  book about Philosophy and different studies of interested .People are going a everlasting cycle of laziness thanks to technology but  technology can only teach up so much. People aren’t into hard work and dedication anymore. My generation is known for being the most suave with the computer but was also the first generation to have a short life span then is previous ancestors, is it our lack of laziness or lack of dependency on technology or some strange combination.

To conclude Google and technology aren’t solely responsible for people getting dumb but were also responds able for making ourselves dumb. Like earlier in passage I said I believe the internet and technology are half way responsible for making people stupid but people are also responsible for a great dependency  on technology. We evolved enough to make technology but were devolving in intelligent due to the lack of retaining information and pure unadulterated laziness.

CAT 4 3.5

As American we eat very Unhealthy because we don’t have the money to buy healthy food “The main idea was unhealthy for the youth of our nation, worker and people of poverty. The cheap meals consumption of people who fuel companies like McDonald. The cheapness of the product is ruining half of these kids healthy and calories are jacked up to more than 1,340 calories. People who are dietarians  say that the U.S dietary guide lines, have kids in the U.S have calories jacked up to 1340 meaning that more than half teenagers who are recommended daily .

                From my Personal Experiences I agree with this Article, whenever I’m taking a walk in my neighborhood I only see maybe two fast food establishment in my neighborhood. The main reasoning the why the establishment are their because of my location and I live in Saint Albans it’s not a subareas but it’s not a harsh ghetto either.  The fast-food establishments McDonalds and KFC are always near a bus stop or a busy street. It basically good marketing because ever body who works in the morning in the evening time who’s in a rush can grabs something quick to eat. The people who come home from work between the hours 5-12 o’clock at night, the buses are always crowded and people logically get tired from work, you can sit down in the establishment and logically you begin to buy cheap food.

                The rich and Wealthy people don’t really have to worry about eating McDonald because their rarely have to worry about McDonalds because their rarely at McDonald. Their Currency has them advantage where they don’t have to worry about their pockets. Their employees most likely have to eat Fast-food because they usually have to worry about their pockets. People with a lot of currency usually don’t worry about McDonald but worry about investments or more corporation issues. As human being were kind of brain washed to always buy at McDonalds by commercials and gimmicks like” Supersize Me” Which was quoted from this article. They also trick people up with an idea of getting something for free like supersize. If they don’t recommend it you get for free and to super size it is so cheap that anyone would buy because the price is so cheap. Thus creating a win a win situation.

                To conclude as inner city worker, students, people who suffer from poverty and American who live fast pace lifestyle, we eat fast-food because it fast the hint in the name and food secondly. We live in such an unhealthy lifestyle because are currency which is our pocket, doesn’t allow us to free a healthy life style .Just another harsh reality in American Society

3.4 Meatrix

The Meatrix is a parody of  The Matrix a movie were their lived in a false reality.Leo Hamderson who basically plays the pig version of  Neo in the matrix .Just like Neo he lived in a world which he thought was reality,Leo is a pig who lives on a farm but when introduce to Moopheus.Moopheus is the cow version of Morpheus from the matrix who basically gave Leo the choice to live in this false reality or see the real world.So Leo picks the red pill ,the pill helps by showing animal cruelty,antibiotic resistant germs,massive pollution and the destruction of communities.By showing Leo the massive truth of problem.

Meatrix 2
Two year have past and the free two million people from The Meatrix.The Edition to the team of the is Chickty basically,trinity is the Neo love interest in the Matrix saga and panther.They basically go into the world using similar device which they use in the matrix the chair which allows them to go into the real world.Leo  vision was obstructed when he first came into the real world he saw the past world of 1950's when farming was at its peak.Then Moopheus told him to put on the glasses and Leo began to see the truth.For example the new born calves getting feed by blood and constructing mad cow disease.The see saw the RBGH a hormone that makes the milky build more in cows.Then Leo eyes really open up to the inhumane treatment of Animal.Just at that second the agents came in and fought Leo. Leo did a Neo move my stopping all the RBGH  needles at once.Then the agency kidnapped Moopheus!!!!.

Meatrix 2 1/2
Chickty and Leo go to a packing factory.Moopheus  was inside taking to agent.Then they started talking about the inhumane processes for the workers and Cows.The agent similar to agent smith,talk about the profit instead of quality of the job.The chair drops then Moopheus is now on the a hook where the have to meat chopping devices.Leo and Chickty busted in and kick the agent on to the hook.They both stop the machine.In the mean time Moopheus is fighting the agent and then breaks free and they all escape.

Exploring The Meatrix:Farm

They use to say cow manure is harmless but the truth is that cow manure actually is hazardous to humans.The Gasses in the air can pollutant  that can mess up the environment and human health.Nitric oxide an item that is in manure can cause acid rain.The risk of lagoon leakage,overflows and the illegal discharge of wasted the treating the soil quality and water systems.Dumping can cause water infected people with disease contaminating water. Nutrient usually present in high concentration in animal waste.This is ecological problem for fish or loss in biodiversity when released into the the environment can kill fish.Even since hurricane Floyd which was in 1999  we haven't yet found technology to deal animal waste.The animal wasted is lethal to people and animals because some time the barn are connected to house usually have bad ventilation and cause death to live stock and human farmers.

Life Artifacts 2:Music/Videos & Kanye West :Power Video Breakdown

          Music has always been  the musical artist place for self expression.Some express it in the most lazy way possible by being generic.You know the blingbling,the big booty women,money and the cars.Some of them make Elaborate lifestyles like getting every women they want like an old school James Bond movie.One Rapper Jadakiss from his song Why, "asked why do most rappers lie in 75 percent of their rhymes".Babyface a male R&B singer was once asked in a Interview" are you that passionate with women in your real life as you are in your music,"and he answer no.The music industry has to create an illusion  for  there artist like Usher or Tyga  for them sell records.Heavy Metal was always thought to be devil worshiping music but if you know the history of heavy Metal you'll will know that founder of Heavy metal Like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath all had Christian back grounds. People obsession with demons led to Bands like Slayer who aren't really satanic worshipers becoming the band guys of metal.Metal like any other genre has many subgenre.
                  Michael Jackson Every good At Videos his ground breaking choreography  was always on point , moonwalk in the early 80s from that infamous anti gravity shoes he used in Smooth criminal when he leans forward in that music video.Michael Jackson learned how to do illusion from a famous illusionist in France.He's one of the best at videos possibly ever but we have new comers like Kanye West and Lady Gaga who have shown us a new side to video production in the aspect of creativity.They do it a lot more than others not down playing other artist and musician.Lady Gaga bright colors,choreography,and outfits make her a great asset to music industry.

          I promised the breakdown of KanyeWest  infamous Power Video and here it comes.At first I thought he was being a cocky a*shole like usually is by making a minute long video. I went through a long process to figure out the Video.It has alot of mythology period, from Greek mythology to Egyptian mythology.The video a first of kind we seen in a while by pushing a artistic value my making a MOVING Picture um...duh.Now more into the story of video ,Egyptian Mythology has alot to do with the story, the man/Kanye West basically giving everything he has ,to this man for power .So when Kanye goes into the room theirs a sword hanging over his promising death is something u cant escaping,double being is powers isn't absolute,The Sword of Damocles is hang over his head but too the side of him another sword is coming to down at him in slow motion promising definite death.

Life Artifacts 1:Computers

In The Matrix Reality wasn't  what  it seem to be,It was a false reality created by robots who used them as Batteries.I know that the Artifact i have are the best artifacts that can describe the  false reality that i live in.The Computer is one of the escapes from reality it kind like your own mini matrix  inside a box broadcast all around the world or just the privacy of your own home  .The Computer has progressed a lot from a military informational  system for a personal entertainment center.The computer has made careers  like Justin Bieber  thanks to YouTube.He went from a normal Canadian 14 year old boy into a 16 year old boy who went double platinum.The computer more than a average entertainment system, like that hot chick you've  been dieing to talk too complex .The computer the American and global way of life you can do mostly everything including banking ,writing,reading and of course purchasing items. We have wars online so we don't get valuable U.S Information Stolen from online.They call this a cyber war. Other then that the computer is one the most valuable thing Ive seen i a while and it never get boring because it updates every minute.
